4 Things That Make a Good Coffee Shop
I have traveled all over the country. And with each place I've visited, I've sipped on my favorite beverage, coffee, in many alternative coffee shops. I've by no means been an individual to just stop on the nearest coffee chain for my coffee fix either. I've always been one to look for the "mom and pop" type coffee place. The places whose character is formed by the owners, employees and those who frequent the shop.
Under are the top 4 things I think create a coffee shop's character and make it what it is.
Music
To me, music can impact anything. Your mood, your energy, and well, your coffee shop. Music can tremendously enhance or totally destroy the vibe of a cafe. I feel like a coffee shop must be constant in the type of music it performs to its customers. If it performs calming acoustic music one day, however dance music the next, clients might not know what to expect. While selection can be a great thing, attracting a constant type of customer base won't work out so well if a shop's music is too diverse. An ideal instance of not being constant is when considered one of my favorite coffee shops played digital music consistently after which someday blared vulgar rap music. I had to leave so I might get my work done.
Staff
A pleasant employees is super important. My everyday shop is about 50% associated to the fact that I know the workers and really feel comfortable at the shop. They know my name, what I drink and all about me.
Atmosphere
The ambiance of a shop is everything. It's created by the people in it, the music, the shop's design and the artwork on the wall. All of these things work together create an energy and a vibe. Personally, I like consistency. Additionally, I like a combination of coziness with an eclectic feel. Footage, paintings, and displays of collectibles are a few of my favorites. Additionally, this is one that's vital, temperature. One of the common coffee chains I can think of appears to want to freeze their customers out by jacking up the air conditioner. That is an excellent way to damage everything.
The Coffee Itself
Since I'm talking about what makes a coffee shop a "good" coffee shop, I probably additionally have to talk about what I personally think is without doubt one of the most important factors in having one. The precise coffee and products offered. Are there just three items offered? Is the coffee genuinely good? Is it too weak? Does it have a bad aftertaste? Is there coffee constant with every order?
